Telémachos AlexiouTelémachos Alexiou was born on January 3, 1989 on the island of Evvia, Greece. During his childhood and teens he was trained as a ballroom dancer and won several titles nationally and internationally. At the age of 17 he moved to London, UK, to study Communications and Visual Culture and three years later to Berlin where he studied Film Theory at the Freie Universität Berlin and started working as a filmmaker and artist.

His diverse body of work includes narrative feature films, media installations, performance art and photography. His work is characterized by a dreamy, surrealistic approach to every day experience and to notions such as identity, sexuality, repression and desire.
